A wild video is doing the rounds of a surfer jumping into the bowels of Poseidon (and risking a trip to “the anus”) after rocking off – and slipping badly – at First Rock at D Y point.
You’d think he’d be swimming with the fishies but apparently he is all good.
It remains unclear if he got washed into the infamous “anus” or if he was pooped straight out the back after this rolling) but regardless he survived.
It could have been a lot worse if he didn’t know what he was doing, it has been said.
As one French dude said: “Il s’est tres bien se-qu’il fait.”
Comments online were split with some saying he “nailed it” and “it actually worked out well for the fella.”
Others were all “WTf” and OMG. More comments included “served” “finger licking good” and “hahaha.”
“Not funny at all” said another, while yet another said: “can’t count to 7.”
“Fuck, locals should know better.”
“That’s a perfectly timed jump off the rocks there.”
Definitive ouch.
The video was posted by @deewhypointrockoff (sent in by @cooper.brown4) and spread like wildfire, even being reposted by king of slow mo Tim Bonython.
